BTOSports.com Sponsors Holeshot Award for
2008 AMA Toyota Motocross Championship

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (May 24, 2008) – With the start of the 2008 AMA Toyota Motocross Championship Presented by FMF just hours away, the National Promoters Group (NPG) announced that BTOSports.com, a distributor of motocross parts and accessories, has signed on as official sponsor of the holeshot award, named the BTOSports.com Holeshot Award.

A special accolade for the rider who breaks out of the gates faster than all of their competitors, the holeshot award is a special element of motocross racing that adds an extra level of competitiveness with each individual battling for the cash reward.

BTOSports.com Holeshot Award will be presented to the rider that earns the holeshot in each moto of AMA Motocross and AMA Motocross Lites classes. From the opening round at the 13th Annual Giant RV AMA Motocross National presented by Yamaha at Glen Helen on May 24-25, throughout the remainder of the 12-race season, BTOSports.com branded trusses will mark the first turn. The first rider for each of the four motos on the day will win the award and receive $500.

With the help of Racer X Illustrated and MxNationals.com, the NPG’s official website, the new award will receive multimedia exposure. Racer X Films will feature post-race video of the four holeshots at each event, presenting them on MxNationals.com. In addition, MXNationals.com will present the BTOSports.com Holeshot Contest where fans can select the winners of the second moto holeshots for each class. Each contest winner will receive a dream fan package of eight VIP passes to the outdoor national of their choice that includes access to the NPG hospitality area.

Interview opportunities are available to the media by contacting AMA Toyota Motocross Championship media coordinator Brandon Short via email at Media@MXNationals.com or by phone at 951-203-2605.
